Founder & CEO

Mike McNew is Founder & CEO of McNew & Associates, Inc. (MAI), Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role he is primarily responsible for the research and analysis of client requirements and objectives in the areas of DCAA audit compliance, government required business system implementation, and overall business strategy and directive. Prior to founding MAI, Mr. McNew was a Senior Auditor for the Defense Contract Audit Agency.

Lisanne McNew Co-founded McNew & Associates in 2007 with her husband Mike. Their goal was to reduce the stress of doing business with the government as well as help their clients grow quickly. Lisanne earned her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership & Research from UCCS.  She has spent many years building organizations and companies up through effective management, training, sales and networking. For Lisanne, success is achieved through building spectacular client relations and constant process improvement. Lisanne is an active part of the Colorado community, serving on multiple boards and councils such as the Workforce Investment Board (Chair – Pike Peak Workforce Center), Junior Achievement Executive Board of Directors, YMCA Board of Directors (Tri-Lakes), Military Affairs Council, and others.

Imogene has almost 30 years experience working in the areas of federal contracts, subcontracts, grants, tribal treaties, and various types of government agreements. She has worked with the US Department of the Interior in both the Office of Assistant Secretary-Indian Affairs and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. She has worked with the US Department of Energy serving as the business / subcontracts manager where she designed, implemented, and managed program policies and procedures to ensure that all business units were in compliance with federal regulatory requirements.
